A Stitch in Time is currently showing at Clydebank Art Gallery & Musem until 13 May 2017. It covers a history of the sewing machine and its legacy. The exhibition beautiful refurbished dresses from the Victorian and Edwardian periods that have not previously been displayed to the public.

The poster features the Singer No. 1, the first sewing machine manufactured for mass production. The colours reflect the branding of West Dunbartonshire Council.
